Customers follow up.
After sales session with your customer, regardless any product being sale to them or not, it is very important to follow them up. If you don’t do so your time will be wasted meaninglessly.
The sales process would include initial contact, product presentation to final step of sales and follow up are equally important. The reason customer follow-up is essential explained below:
1. It is very crucial to make your customer fell important. You can achieve this by follow them up after sales session. When the customers come to your office or call you by the phone, he or she wants to be treated as the only customer you have. Follow up is important to show them that you serious to do business with them.
2. To show them that you care.
One of the reason you follow the customers up are to know how they are doing especially with the product they bought. Ask to the customer’s experience about the product and the company they deal with. If the feedback is negative try to find the reason be emphatic and find and giver the best solution you can.
3. You may find sale opportunity during the follow-up.
Two things happen to your customer especially after initial meeting. Either sale take place or your customers still undecided. If the sale is take place the follow up still important as we discussed before. These also open opportunities to offer other product to them. If the customer was still undecided follow up allow you to find out if your customers come up with the decision.
So it is clear now that follow up is important as other steps of sales. However, you should make the customer aware that you will make follow up session.
